Phalaenopsis Plants

Phalaenopsis Orchid

A Phalaenopsis orchid in a ceramic planter, the kind of arching, long-lasting bloom that turns a shelf into something worth photographing.

Phalaenopsis, commonly known as the moth orchid, is prized for flower spikes that hold their blooms for weeks at a stretch, and this one arrives already potted in ceramic and ready to place. It suits both indoor rooms and covered outdoor spots, provided it gets the bright indirect light orchids need to keep flowering.

Where it earns its keep

It does well indoors or outdoors, and is suited to a living room shelf, a bedroom windowsill or a covered balcony, anywhere it can get bright indirect sunlight without being scorched by direct sun.

A few extra details

It is listed as both air purifying and pet friendly, which makes it a reasonably worry-free choice for homes with plants near pets. The ceramic planter it comes in is ready to place as is, with no repotting needed at arrival.

Please note: This is a living plant. Natural differences in leaf size, colour and overall shape may occur, so the plant you receive may vary slightly from the photographs.
