Calathea Fishbone (Ctenanthe burle-marxii)

Also known as the Never-Never Plant, the Fishbone Calathea has slender, feather-patterned leaves with a herringbone design in deep green and burgundy. Like other prayer-plant relatives, its leaves fold upward in the evening and open again with the morning light.

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which fades the leaf pattern.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist; use room-temperature filtered or rainwater if possible, as this plant is sensitive to fluoride and chlorine.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity — mist regularly or place on a pebble tray.

Pet safe: Non-toxic to cats and dogs.
