Calatheas Burle Marxii Plant

Calatheas Burle Marxii Plant

Silvery, fishbone-patterned leaves that fold upward like hands at dusk.

Calathea Burle Marxii, sometimes called the fishbone prayer plant, stands out for its pale silvery-green leaves marked with a dark herringbone pattern. It's hardier than most calatheas, tolerating more light and a longer gap between waterings.

Where it works best

It adapts well to a balcony, indoor corner, or office space, and unlike many of its cousins, it can take direct sunlight without much fuss.

A few extra details

It comes in a plastic planter and works well both indoors and outdoors. Note that this variety isn't listed as an air purifier, unlike some of our other calatheas.

Please note: This is a living plant. Natural differences in leaf size, colour and overall shape may occur, so the plant you receive may vary slightly from the photographs.
